Who We Are

Header_Who we are

We are a church on a mission to call all people to full devotion to Jesus Christ.  God is our supreme treasure and we exist to glorify Him above all things. We strive to connect people with Jesus Christ for their joy and the glory of God. Therefore, as we move within our culture, we proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ's sacrificial death and resurrection to everyone, inviting them to delight in God and engage the church.

We gather as a community of people who have covenanted together to study God's word (the Bible), encourage one another, confess sin, pursue repentance and reconciliation, carry out our vision and pursue righteous, Christ-like living. Together we are the family of God. Individually we come from all different kinds of backgrounds, ethnicities and ages. Corporately, we are united by our relationship with Jesus.

We are a church who desires to reproduce itself through discipleship and evangelism.  We do this  individually by sharing the gospel and discipling new believers in Christ. Furthermore, as our small groups, known as missional communities grow and multiply, we will plant new churches to reach other communities with the gospel.

And this was all while being held as a captive in a foreign land and knowing that while serving the king, he could be put to death at any moment for any reason. Why did God choose to use Daniel and allow him to go through so much?... more...

Mercy//Heather Barrett

As we learned a few weeks ago, God’s mercy should dominate our lives. We are all sinners, saved not by our own works, but by God’s amazing mercy (Titus 3:5). While still dead in our sins, the Lord not only withheld our punishment, He sent His only Son to take our place! Jesus died the death we should have... more...

Consider The Cost//Chris Mayfield

Have you ever wanted to build something from scratch, but stopped after drawing out the building plans? Ever say, “I am going to work out every single day this year,” and shot out like a cannon for the first week only to go down like a house of cards? Oh and how about this one, “We are going to be out of debt by the end of the year!” Didn’t work out so well did it? more...
