Authentic Community is one of our core values at the Journey. God exists in eternal community and has designed us to enjoy and live life in community with others. In a world that pushes us toward isolation, we realize one of our greatest needs is community. We need a place where we can know and be known, love and be loved, and serve and be served. Community Groups meet this need.
Community Groups are the primary means for experiencing biblical community at the Journey. Community Groups provide an opportunity for you to be known and cared for. It is within these small communities that men and women can build personal relationships and practice applying the gospel to their lives. Scattered throughout the surrounding areas, Community Groups are intentional efforts to foster an atmosphere conducive for Christian growth. Each group expects to experience Jesus Christ in its midst, enabling participants to be transformed through mutual ministry and to experience life in the family of God.
