If you are a member or regular attender of The Journey looking to give online, please enter our secure tithe page.

If you’re a first-time guest or a non-Christian, we don’t want your money, we’re just glad to have you with us. If you visit a Sunday service, fill out a visitor card and drop it in the offering basket during service so we can get to know you. That’s your contribution to our service and ministry.

Give Cheerfully and Sacrificially

For those who call The Journey home, however, giving cheerfully and sacrificially of our finances is part of our worship. A believer labors not to accrue personal wealth or possessions, but to steward God's resources well and model Jesus to brothers, sisters, and community.

If you're a Christian outside our region who uses the website regularly for personal growth and/or evangelism, and you feel compelled to give above and beyond the primary giving to your local Christian congregation and mission, we don't expect but do appreciate your contribution.

Our work is an effort to serve our Father in all things, and one of the primary ways we serve God is by cheerfully giving God our “firstfruits” (2 Corinthians 9:7; Proverbs 3:9). We call our members to give, not by meeting some petty, obligatory percentage, but by digging deep and sacrificing for the sake of the gospel because Jesus sacrificed for us, and all we have is His anyway.

We list our budget and weekly giving surplus or deficit in the monthly Vibe so that the church and our guests can see how we’re doing as a body in meeting our financial needs. We thank those who have helped us meet these needs and pray that those coming and remaining would join in faithful, consistent, godly giving as Scripture instructs.

Transformed not Conformed//Adam Sheffield

Daniel is used by God to carry his message, God gives him wisdom and shows him favor, gives him the meanings of dreams, foretells of coming kingdoms and the end times through him, saves him from the mouths of vicious lions because of his faith, and speaks to the hearts of two different kings ruling over two of the greatest empires. And this was all while being held as a captive in a foreign land and knowing that while serving the king, he could be put to death at any moment for any reason. Why did God choose to use Daniel and allow him to go through so much?... more...

Mercy//Heather Barrett

As we learned a few weeks ago, God’s mercy should dominate our lives. We are all sinners, saved not by our own works, but by God’s amazing mercy (Titus 3:5). While still dead in our sins, the Lord not only withheld our punishment, He sent His only Son to take our place! Jesus died the death we should have... more...

Consider The Cost//Chris Mayfield

Have you ever wanted to build something from scratch, but stopped after drawing out the building plans? Ever say, “I am going to work out every single day this year,” and shot out like a cannon for the first week only to go down like a house of cards? Oh and how about this one, “We are going to be out of debt by the end of the year!” Didn’t work out so well did it? more...
