Pastors

And We're Off!

Sunday was fantastic! What a great time of worship and fellowship! My soul was truly blessed by our gathering and the Spirit of God. I am excited to learn more about God’s salvation and abundant faithfulness.

In addition to starting a new sermon series we also kicked off our roots classes: Shepherding a Child’s Heart, a ladies’ Bible study-Faithful, Abundant, True and Alpha (our new members’ class). We want to let everyone know that if you missed week one, it is not too late to jump in to any of these classes. We encourage all of you to prayerfully consider participating this fall. Don’t let missing the first week prevent you from coming this week.

And last but definitely not least, Community Groups spring back into action this week. Make it a priority in your schedule to gather and encourage each other. We all desperately need each other!

Thankful for all of you,

Pastor Matthew

Journey Through Values//Adam Sheffield

Stop reading this. No, seriously, stop reading and clear your mind. Ok you may begin reading again, but before going further see if you can give the five values that Journey Church preaches. If you’re not a member you don’t have to pass this test, although reading on will help inform you of what our five core values are and how they shape our ministry. And that helps all of us understand better why we do what we do. more...

Journey Through Values: Truth//Adam Sheffield

Truth seems like an obvious value, an age-old archetype that any religious organization would have, but imagine if a religion promoted itself by saying “Falsehoods and lies are what we value!” Four words for that: Re-donk-u-lus!
