Maturity?

Have you ever noticed that maturity is most often recognized in its absence? We seldom take the time to think about what a person has said and test it to see if it is wise. But when a clearly immature person comes across our path we sometimes spend a great deal of time critiquing their lack of knowledgeable insight. Lately, I have been contrasting scriptural maturity with immaturity What does it mean to be biblically mature? Ephesians 4 tells us that maturity is Christ-likeness. First ...

Who you bringing?

Who you bringing? This Sunday we will have a gathering for people to hear the gospel, respond to the gospel, and give their lives to the gospel. One reason I wanted to plant this exact church in this exact place was for evangelism. An opportunity to reach the most unreached region in North America and see them connect to a community and trust Jesus! One of my greatest loves about being a part of a church is seeing people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior! Seeing them finally get to ...

Lay Up

Lay Up Treasures in Heaven 19 "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. 22 "The eye is the lamp of the body. Live Video or Live People?

Churches with multiple campuses is where it is at these days in growing churches and it is a trend that is exploding nationally. It is definitely something that seems to be popular and it also seems to be working in some great ways in getting out the Gospel.   And that is what we want, to see the Gospel go! And ...

And this was all while being held as a captive in a foreign land and knowing that while serving the king, he could be put to death at any moment for any reason. Why did God choose to use Daniel and allow him to go through so much?... more...

Over the next few months as we travel through the book of Daniel verse by verse, we’re focusing on transforming the culture... more...

Mercy//Heather Barrett

As we learned a few weeks ago, God’s mercy should dominate our lives. We are all sinners, saved not by our own works, but by God’s amazing mercy (Titus 3:5). While still dead in our sins, the Lord not only withheld our punishment, He sent His only Son to take our place! Jesus died the death we should have... more...
