It isn't Irony

Journey, it isn’t ironic that so many awesome things have been happeneing in the last 31 days of our young Church. First off God is a God of order and we might not know the order but he has ordained all steps in his process of Glory and Honor and we are following his lead in steps of obedience.
Think about the texts we are going through right now in Acts 6 & 7. The texts are about servants rising up to serve, people defending the faith, God tearing down the notion that you have to worship in one area. If He wants to take that all away and do something totally different He can and we should. Think literally about what has happened in the last 3 weeks and how we have had interruptions of other passages on other Sundays to enter into Ch6 and 7 when we did. It is not irony, it is Jesus and his sovereignty. Let me recap the first 5 Sundays in January with a little commentary on the side:
Jan 3rd Labor for the Lost (Not ironic that we are having a ton of guests every week and they are staying. Why because we are out there building relationships and seeking out the lost)
Jan 10 Poured Out (Not ironic that people are pouring out their physical, emotional, and spiritual lives daily and we are seeing Godly fruit)
Jan 17 Acts 6:1-7 [Beginning of Cotton Candy Religion vs True Relationship w God] Servants rising up, harmony in church, true needs being met (Not ironic God gives us more needs to bring gospel too, more people stepping up to lead and serve)
Jan 24 Truth over Tradition Acts 6:8-15 (Not ironic people speaking out about heir faith , people being challenged in their lives for speaking out, church willing to change everything for more opportunities to spread Pandemic)
Jan 31 Acts 7:1-53 Man Made or God Built (Not ironic that we are seeing God move us out of one facility and now he brought a new one to our attention & people are willing to die to self and move 7.4 miles for the Gospel sake and get us out of our comfort zones.)
This is not irony, this is God moving. And part of being obedient is not only moving with Him but enjoying Him while we do it. We have to enjoy Him in the good and bad and everything in between.
Love you Journey Church,
PC
